Tyre recycling using Tyre Balers

Tyres where banned from Landfill in 2003 in the UK. Every day 100,000 tyres are taken off cars, vans and trucks which equates to around 440,000 tonnes per year in the UK.

A tyre baler is used to reduce the volume so tyres can be shipped more efficiently or re-used as PAS108 bales.

Tyre Balers are different to typical mill size cardboard balers.  due to the density and shape of the tyres, they have to be much stronger and more powerful.

Tyre balers from British Balers makes the ideal bale to be shipped and exported where the vast majority of tyres are recycled using a variety of shredders or pryolisis systems.
